A two-year position (research fellowship) is available in Prof. Maria Giulia Farace's laboratory, Dept. of Experimental Medicine and Biochemical Sciences, University of Rome Tor Vergata. The research topic will be the study of the miRNome in neural stem cells in an animal model of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), for the set up of gene therapy approaches. The candidate must be an enthusiastic and committed young researcher with a good knowledge of cell and molecular biology, with a previous experience (PhD or at least three year experience post-lauream) in microRNA or stem cell isolation and culture.
