Due to the worldwide emergency caused by the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, the XVI FISV Congress has been postponed to 13-16 September 2022, at the same venue. We look forward to seeing you in Portici in 2022.

XVI FISV CONGRESS

I am pleased to announce the XVI edition of the Congress of the Italian Federation of Life Sciences (FISV), which will take place from 15 to 18 September 2020 in Naples at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Department of Agriculture [http://www.agraria.unina.it/il-dipartimento/presentazione], located in the historical Reggia di Portici [https://www.comune.portici.na.it/old/38-la-citta/5087-reggia-di-portici].
Sixteen Scientific Societies (AAI, ABCD, AGI,SIB, SIBBM, SIBE, SIBV, SICA, SIF, SIF, SIGA, SIGU, SIMAG, SIMGBM, SIP MET, SIPaV), with a total of more than 8,000 researchers, are active members of our Federation. I would like to thank all the Scientific Societies which have contributed to organize what promises to be an exceptional scientific event for our Country and have defined an exciting program.
The past editions of this meeting have all been very successful and this edition has a newly drafted program aiming at fostering interdisciplinary exchange at the forefront of the life sciences. Internationally renowned scientists form Italy and abroad will present their most recent data; in addition, the meeting will also allow several young Italian and foreign scientists to present their research in a highly stimulating scientific environment. We will also have round tables on selected current topics as well as talks dedicated to a broader audience to enhance the interaction between scientists and non scientists.
We are sure that you will enjoy very much this exciting Congress and anxiously look forward to meeting you in Portici.

Sono lieto di annunciare la XVI edizione del Congresso della Federazione italiana delle scienze della vita (FISV), che si svolgerà dal 15 al 18 settembre 2020, a Napoli, presso l’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, al Dipartimento di Agricoltura [http://www.agraria.unina.it/il-dipartimento/presentazione], sito nella storica Reggia di Portici [https://www.comune.portici.na.it/old/38-la-citta / 5087-Reggia-di-Portici].
Quattordici società scientifiche (AAI, ABCD, AGI, SIB, SIBBM, SIBE, SIBV, SICA, SIF, SIGA, SIGU, SIMAG, SIMGBM, SIP MET, SIPaV), per un totale di circa 8.000 ricercatori, sono attualmente membri attivi della nostra Federazione.
Vorrei quindi ringraziare tutte le Società che hanno contribuito a organizzare un evento scientifico che promette di essere fondamentale per il nostro Paese, le stesse società che si sono impegnate nel definire un programma entusiasmante.
Le passate edizioni di questo incontro hanno avuto molto successo e questa edizione mira a promuovere lo scambio interdisciplinare, in prima linea, nelle scienze della vita. Scienziati di fama internazionale in Italia e all’estero porteranno al Congresso le loro ricerche e i loro dati più recenti. Inoltre, l’incontro consentirà a molti giovani scienziati italiani e stranieri di presentare le loro ricerche in un ambiente scientifico altamente stimolante.
Organizzeremo anche tavole rotonde su argomenti di attualità, selezionati, e conferenze dedicate a un pubblico più ampio per migliorare l’interazione tra scienziati e non scienziati.
Sono certo che gradirai il nostro invito e non vediamo l’ora di incontrarti a Portici.
